A great day at FPNS for me:

Watching how much fun the children have with one another on the playground, imagining fun games to play together, helping each other up the slide, and circling around a friend who needs encouragement. It’s so special.

I am inspired by:

 The unique perspectives of each of our kiddos.

A fun fact about me:
I illustrated a published children’s book, “The Lost Feather.” It is about a Native American boy who learns that relationships are far more important than material things and that sometimes you are led in unexpected directions, which, in hindsight, proves to be best for you.

Education:

I  have a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, 1988. I started teaching at FPNS in 2024.
