Neely Leslie has called New Canaan home for almost 20 years. She and her husband fell in love with New Canaan when they moved to Connecticut from Texas.

Neely has three children who have all grown up here.  She is originally from the Midwest and graduated from the University of Illinois.

Neely has a bachelor’s in Elementary Education and began her teaching career in Houston, TX, teaching Math, Science, and English as a Second Language to second graders.  After enjoying some time off to raise her family, Neely was excited to return to teaching. 

She started working at FPNS in 2023 and says it was the best decision!  Neely loves the energy of a preschool classroom, where every day brings a new adventure and an opportunity to make learning feel like play. 

When she is not teaching, she loves being outside walking her dog, playing golf with her husband, or hanging out with friends and family.
